Importance of Water:
Water is an essential source of life. Our bodies are made up of 70% water while most of the essential nutrients throughout our bodies are carried by water.
Many people do not consume enough water. The average person should drink at least 8 cups of water everyday. Many people rely on other drinks such as soft drinks or tea to make up for their fluid intakes, which ends up reducing the amount of water intake. This results in both short and long term effects.

The main substance of the body is water, and when a person does not drink enough water, the body has to take water from somewhere else to digest food. As a result, this process upsets the balance and can harm other parts of the body. Constipation is a sure sign of the body having not enough water and is a good indicator that you should drink more.

Impurities in water
Today, the water from our taps are still not completely clean and safe for drinking without proper

Filtration and boiling.
More and more reports are reported in the mainstream press about the impurities in water such as chlorine, farm fertilizers, detergents, and other harmful chemicals. The long term side effects of drinking tap water have not been studied well enough yet; but, prevention is the key to a healthier lifestyle.
